Default What brand of Winch has failed you?

I am just curious as if you have had a certain brand winch on your ATV that if it has ever failed you? Please be honest in your answer as there are many people that are new (and old) to the sport that want a winch is best to fit there own personal needs. Please vote if you actually have owned a failed winch and what brand it was. This is not a popularity contest so thanks for your honest answer!

Default Winch

In fairness to manufactures the failures have to be considered within market share.

No failures yet. In the 3 months I've owned my viper it's been submerged in mud enough times that I wouldn't be too disappointed if it gave up but it keeps on working as good as new.

I'm not able to vote but my "built for yamaha" warn failed me. But it probably died from being submerged. I havent taken it apart yet to see. I replaced it with a mile marker 2500, and I've been pleased so far. I would have gone with a warn again but $150 vs $400 made the decision easy.

My Warn's have been great. I did see a Viper Max go for no apparent reason?
