I'd have to list the 05 / 06 Brute force as one of the most unreliable "newer" atv's- not the cheapest, just unreliable.

True that 4 times the carb broke and flodded the engine with gas and when you opened the dipstick gas would pour out like a garden hose. NO JOKE.

The ATV that I've owned that spent the most time in the shop for repairs was a 2003 Honda Rincon 650. It spent a total of nine weeks in the shop during the one year I owned it.

had a KLT250 that constantly had electrical problems, it was one that you couldn't take to a trail without having to drag it in, so I never took it out of the yard. Bought a 87 Suzuki 250 quadrunner 4x4, I'm sure it was a good machine when it was younger, but too many years of abuse and lack of maintenance before I got it pretty well ruined it. I spent a lot of time and money trying to keep it usable, ended up selling it for parts. I tried a couple of the chinese kids quads, they both had thier issues, but it was usually a wire breaking or something like that, quick fixes. It seems to me that if you buy a good air filter for them and change oil immediately after uncrating it, they will run a long time....but the stock air filters on them are crap.
