Default What ATV for my 7yr old to start racing with?

First of all I posted this hoping that someone has some experience.

My son is about to turn 8 in January.. He has been riding a 90cc Fushin ATV and a Yamaha tri znger 60 3 wheeler for the past 6 months.. lately he's been riding a few hours each day and getting pretty good..But neither of these are made for jumping.

Plans are for him to try racing next year.. Does anyone have any suggestions on what ATv to buy? The local delar has a Yamaha predator 90 for $2000 brand new left over 2008... Someone give me some sugestions please.. WOuld like to keep it under $2000 ... USed is even OK and so is needing work.

Is the Suzuki LT-80 still popular for racing? They are really good.

Get the new DS 90x. It is already set up to race off the show room floor.
