Default Kids Chinese quad identification

Hello Group, my grandkids received a new Chinese kids quad from a family friend last Christmas, and it came with no paperwork. After 4 months of use, the rear brake caliper is leaking and I need to replace or rebuild it. Not knowing anything about kids quads at all, I don't know where to start looking for parts without a part number, model number, CC size etc. It has the parking/emergency brake option as well. Amazon, fleabay, etc. have parts but I need to make sure it's correct. I've attached the VIN tag and a picture of the ATV to help (pardon the messy shed)

VIN Info

If you need the actual VIN number let me know. Thanks

None of your pics have come up. I think you need to have posted a few times before they allow pics.

Give us the VIN but, unless it is one of the big name makers like Kazuma, finding parts is a matter of looking at the on-line pics and measurements and finding the calliper that is identical to yours. Parking brakes that depend on the hydraulic system are a really bad idea, which is why the Japanese makers mostly use cables for the parking brake. If your bike has a hydraulic parking brake, use it as little as possible.

and the rear caliper itself has a number that get no results on Google
that is: AJ20220928

I ran it through Cyclepedia's vin decoder and got:-

2021 Apollo 22
1 Cylinder
4 Stroke
Displacement: 125cc
Manufacturing Plant: ZHEJIANG CHINA

The importer does have a website https://www.apolloatv.com/products/commander-125cc/ with email address for parts, that often doesn't mean much but worth a try.

I know this is a few months ago but did you ever find anything for this? I have almost the same quad 2021 Apollo 45 only my PN is AJRD211114A and absolutely nothing shows up for a search on that number. I do have some experience working on quads but this is the first time I have never seen a rear caliper with a hand and foot cable hooked up to it. I am guessing the parking/emergency brake option that was mentioned is the extra cable attached to the caliper that runs to a hand lever. All searches for 125 atv rear brake calipers only have the foot pedal, searching for parking/emergency brake option don't turn anything up either. I'm almost thinking I may just try to find a replacement without the parking/emergency brake option and remove the hand lever.

Have you tried that Apollo website I linked to? Cables, or fluid lines? Callipers with a fluid line for foot brake and a cable for handbrake, are common. The current Honda 420/520 IRS uses one, as did many Yams, from the 1990s onwards.

Never found the right caliper with the handbrake option (except at our local purchasing dealer - TOO expensive) so I took the caliper apart and found the piston seal somehow was not seated properly in the seal groove. I lubed it up, re-assembled it and so far, so good. I did find the right pads on Amazon though. Now I'm not sure if it was the original assembly screw-up or from the first few weeks of use, I'll never know. In any event, I know where to get the pads next time. But the caliper, I may just have to suck it up and get it from the dealer, OR go without the handbrake option, those are plentiful all over flea-bay and amazon. Good luck!

The setup is cable from the hand and fluid from the foot pedal. This post help me with the term for the way it is setup. I was not aware that it was an emergency/parking bake, after I started digging with that term I was able to find a few that looked similar. Unfortunatly most of them did not list full specs so I couldn't match the hole to hole size. What I did is order a cap for the caliper and I plan on just removing the hand cable/lever.
