I have a 2002 Bear Tracker. Runs good but has a rattle in bottom end and lost 2nd and 4th gear. First question is, could this possibly be a clutch or a more serious issue?
2nd question is, will all Bear Tracker models directly fit and wire up to my 2002? Found a 1999 complete bike at a reasonable price but not sure if the engine will fit. Thanks for any help!

 

Looks identical from pictures. Worth checking the on-line parts diagrams for the two years, main point is if they used the same stator, if so, the wiring plugs will be the same, but it isn't a Major hurdle if they are not.
