I didn't mean to offend all the Honda fans here. I didn't know ya'll were so aggressvie about it. I just thought they were comparable machines and that the Warrior is better in some areas. SOME, but not all. And it's not like this is the Honda forum anyway. I'm sorry opinions from non-Honda riders are not wanted. I didn't mean to start anything.

The 300EX and the Warrior battle I guess will go on forever. There both good its just whatever you want.

You could write it like this though and be true for the 300EX as well.

Get a 300EX. It's just as reliable but absolutely built for the trails.

Lol, amen. I have done plenty of research on both of these. I'm getting a Warrior as soon as my Beartracker sells (if it sells). But yes, they both have some better qualities than the other. I just want something that I won't outgrow (in size) as fast as I did with the Beartracker. But yes, it does absolutely depend on what you will be using it for. I'm sorry if I started anything.

i've hit some pretty large water crossings on my EX and it hasnt skipped a beat, and definitely take up Coyotechaser's advice on the skid plates (especially on the swingarm)

can't go wrong with the 300ex. Great quad, period. I find myself riding it more than my LTZ when it comes to hopping on one and cruising the woods. Low gearing, smaller size, and reliable as hell makes for an awesome trail quad. I've also noticed it does reeeeal well as far as traction on hills and such, climbs like a little goat.

I would hope so!!!!!

These two machines are not in the same class being designed decades apart.

The 300EX is still fun though in the woods or anywhere when top speed is not needed.

My wife took her 300ex into the woods last weekend and kept up pretty well with me on my Predator. She probably had an easier time on the trails than I did, to be honest. It's a wonderful trail quad. The only thing I don't like about it is the goofy reverse set up. She stalls it every time trying to get it into reverse. I almost never do, but then I gave up on it and just push it back. ATV Connection magazine review a reverse lever replacement modification that we plan to buy as soon as money allows. This should make reversing easier.

Oh, we still have the stock skid plates, but I agree they should be replaced. She didn't get any serious dents, but just looking at them you know they won't last. Especially after we get around to replacing those 22" rear tires with some 20" Razr's.
