Yup. We will find out more tonight but, from the pictures we can sumise:

-WR/YZF 450 motor (monster power)
-Water cooled
-Wide stance geometry
-shocks w/ piggybacks(This is a big clue that this is a performance machine)
-Lower seat height than Raptor

If I were in the market for a sport qua, I would hold off until we get more info on this baby.

It won't be available until the fall so, you have awhile to think about it. OTOH It is the first year of the bike and they generally have some problems to work out. Put a little money in the 400ex to tide you over.

Elkas would be a good compromise. You might also think about doing a hot cam and a carb for a good boost.

Which Quad is better for trail ridin???
If your 400ex is reliable, you like riding it and you aren't racing for money: keep it. Why fix something that isn't broken, especially after you have already invested a bit of money into it?

Depends on what you want to do. A 440 will greater overall power but a 416 will accelerate faster. The biggest gains will be with a cam, a carb and proper jetting.

I wouldn't go too crazy with it. You still have a n air-cooled motor that could be unreliable if you push it too much.

If you want a different quad with more power and reverse wait until the 2004 z400's come out this month and get one. The frame and axle problems should be totally fixed. I'm still curious about the yamaha 450 though.
