If it was a decked out shee, man they sure will go,the pipe from the factory is holding out on the power, it is believable that a banshee with pipes, silencers, a jet kit and a filter will outrun it, but if its not, then i dont know whats wrong there.

Ndoggie, dont be suprised the shee is no machine to take lightly. In a drag they are supreme, no one can touch a highly modded shee in a drag, if it was MX then keep practicing and maybe youll do better. Some more info would help alot.

My Dad has a banshee that's piped, and also has some reed work done to it. Not much as far as eye candy goes at all, (He's a good ol' boy)but I've watched him devour Raptors, Bombadiers, and some bikes that looked like they have big bucks dropped in them. The problem with a lot of banshee "tune jobs" is that most of the available pipes out there will give them a late, or high rpm power band...losing most of your low end. With the right set up, you get fantastic power all through the curve...like my Dad's. Hard to contend with. We've had many a laugh over the looks he get's after mopping up the sand with someone that laughs at him.

I had a mild 416 once (piped, 11/1, cam, yada yada) upon a time. Done well all day until it was time too load up. You see the problem was there was a long straight at this location and everyone would wanna drag. I pull my unit up too a COMPLETELY STOCK Banshee.....I get the jump outta the hole....by the time I hit 4th gear the Banshee don't just drive by.....he rips by. Thats humiliating gentlemen. So I asked myself....WTF am I doing bringing a knife too a gunfight? Then made some changes.

Garyc, I guess your changes were a change of quad, to a raptor. That was a good change if that's what you meant.
