Gary, it obviously wasn't a complete stock banshee... maybe, just maybe he had stock pipes on on the outside and a bunch of little goodies on the inside... alot of people do it to suprise people they race. If it was truely stock your bike was either A. Tuned horribly, or B. You just suck at riding. I'll put my money on his shee wasn't stick just looked it.

A stock Banshee has mid 30's power wise.....I would expect my previous mild 400ex too be about the same. Add it up...at best, you get a horse or 2 from a pipe, add a couple more for the increased compression, and another 2 for the cam. 34 horses.....and you look at where the 400ex makes it's power and the drag results make sense. This was my previous Banshee that I did'nt have long enough too mod....it was stock and the results are what they are. This is an actual REAL WORLD account.

Still, in a drag a piped 400ex should have no trouble keeping up / beating a stock shee. With 11:1 piston and a cam, your quad should have had him, just seems wierd that you would lose. Big diference in rider wieghts? Smart choice if you changed from a 400ex to a rappy though.
