yeah thats the only thing i heard so far that is good about the mojave, that it is Fast, otherwise i here it is a bad old model just built and a new name on it every year thats it umm 400ex would e nice I dont know I dont know if i am eperienced enough to ride with the big boys yet?? but i would actually buy a z400 over a 400ex, i heard that i am better off with a z over a ex any size no matter what the only reason why i hear that i should go with a honda is that they are reliable...

you should look at a new warrior or 300ex a new warrior is $4699 and 300ex is $4799,if not i would get the mojave over the z250 and 250ex,because you'll have a whole lot more fun on a manual clutch plus it's faster and theres nothing wrong with the suspension. That quad is one of the most reliable quads ever built, they have been making them since the mid 80's.

I agree that the z250 is a better buy in some ways , later on i will put mods into it as soon as i get the clutch thing down i am used to automatic, never drivin a automatic clutch. the only big boys ridin out there are the kfx 700 the raptor and the predator. I only planing on beatin out those little honda punks that always try to start a race against my trailblazer 250 lol.. thanks though

You keep asking for help but you don't listen to what people are saying. If you want to waste $4,500 on a new Z250 or 250ex go ahead, I'm sure you can find a million dealers to make a deal like that. You said you want a Predator but then when someone says you can get a like new Predator for $5,000 you said you aren't ready to ride with the big dogs. You said you want a new Z400 over a 400ex but you don't want to spend more than $4,500. If you want a sport quad that you won't outgrow in a couple months AND one that fits your $4,500 new budget, you need to look at either the Honda 400ex (yes you can find them $4,500 OTD new), Yamaha Warrior ($4,500 as well), or even the Honda 300ex ($4,000 OTD). If you really want a Z250 or 250ex (I can't imagine why) - then shop around and get them for a GOOD price - don't just throw $4,500 at the dealer because you will be ripping yourself off. You can get great new sport quads (400ex, Warrior, 300ex) for $4,500, but if you are afraid of the power (you shouldn't be - these are not extreme sport quads like the Raptor, V-Force, Cannondale, 250r, Banshee) at least shop around. The Z250 and 250ex are great machines but I haven't known a person yet (over the age of 13) who owns one and hasn't gotten tired of the pitiful power within 3 months of ownership. You have alot of money to spend on this purchase and if you do it wisely you will be the envy of all your friends - waste it and you'll be kicking yourself in a couple monthes.

Have you thought about modding the Trailblazer. There's alot more power in that motor. A modded trailblazer should beat any of the other 250's you're considering. HPD has a race mod kit for $810. With this kit the Trailblazer 250 will beat a Scrambler 400. IMO, I'd mod the trailblazer and save my money until I could get a 400cc or bigger sport quad.
