This is kinda a stupid question but where is the fuel mixture adjustment on my yfz450 any help much appreciated.

you mean like mixing oil, because they don't have one, there 4 strokes

Air-fuel i should say

 

there's a cutout in the bottom of the float bowl and the mixture screw is recessed up in there. its the hole next to the drain bolt on the bottom of the bowl. it takes a small flathead screwdriver. terrycable and koubalink.com make fuel mix screws for the fcr carb that you can adjust by hand, much easier than trying to adjust with screwdriver.
