Get more than one then you have choices. When I want to trail ride and play on the track I take the 400EX, but if I want to fly, I pull out the Zilla.

I"ve had the chance to test ride quite a few different quads, and they all had there good and bad points.

Do lots of research, take in all info and make the decision.

 

There are lots of good sport quads.There are 400ex's.z's,kfx's,raptors,250R 's,and ect.

 

lt500 can't be that great in the trails! that thing is way to fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you'll hit tree or somthing and then there goes your lt500

 

I really like Ds-650's but are not real good on trails, but I managed

 

Go with the rappy, its my first sport quad, and i love it......plus it has reverse.

 

250r and tecate best jumpers and fast!!!!!

 

If you are a beginner to sport quads, go for the 400 ex, then move up to a larger quad. this is what i did, i started on the ex, and now have a z 400. It is more powerful, and for more experienced riders. great for trails, awesome in sand, and can race with a 440 kit in it.

 

If you don't mind getting your hands dirty, there isn't a better deal out there than the Cannondale Cannibal's selling for 4k and under. Do your research on them, they are finicky, you will have to do preventative maintenence, and that may not be for you. But .. if you don't mind, there isn't a better deal out there right now. The fuel injected 440 runs with anything out right now. Or if you want an even nicer ride, look at the nice additions that are added to the Speed, Blaze, and Moto. There is no way you could build a better quality bike with nicer parts starting with anything else for what you can now buy these for. They aren't for everyone, but worth a look.

 

The z400 or the Raptor, easily.
