Default no muffler

I was wondering if u can take the muffler off a 4 stroke engin. Or will that wreck the motor?

i though that no muffler burned up valves? I think you would have to make some drastic jetting changes,

It depends on your jetting and the cam timing.

I'd be more worried about ambient air directly (unrestricted) going up the exhaust pipe and cooling the exhaust valves too quickly when the engine is turned off.
