no muffler

Default no muffler

I was wondering if u can take the muffler off a 4 stroke engin. Or will that wreck the motor?

sure you can, but what's the point..you'll probably just end up losing power...

i though that no muffler burned up valves? I think you would have to make some drastic jetting changes,

Buddy of mine has a old moto 4 350 that has no muffler,still going strong,sounds sweet!

My moto-4 has a muffler ''shell'' but someone took out all the innards.

It depends on your jetting and the cam timing.

I'd be more worried about ambient air directly (unrestricted) going up the exhaust pipe and cooling the exhaust valves too quickly when the engine is turned off.
