... anyway, i was reading in dirtwheels, and they said something about rumors of kawasaki making a new 2 stroke race quad!? I like Honda best, but i still think this would be very interesting.

Has anyone heard of this?!?!?!?

 

It would be very interesting to see a new 2-stroke.
I would like to see the new technology they would put into it to make it legal in emission and still keep that ballz to the wall 2-stroke powerband.

i read recently where Kawasaki was making a 250 fourstroke dirtbike, but i recall nothing about a new TWOstroke race quad. Yokely rode one for them for awhile but nothing was said about them making something similar to the bike he rode. in a way, they would be kinda dumb to do that. it would be cool to have and ride but dumb for them to do, considering the market and environmental regualtions are quickly shifting to favor 4strokes.

i guess i may have read it wrong, but i'll look in the magazine just in case.

Yes you are right, DirtyWheels did have an article talking about a 2-stroke Kawasaki.

 

Also there is 2-stroke outboards meeting emmision standards so I don't see why it wouldn't work with a quad.

 

oh, it can work ok in a quad and wil probably rip up some @ss, but it seems the market is focusing on
4 strokes these days, so i cant say that i see them building this. if they do, it will be more suprising to some then honda making the 450r.

OK, i searched my mags but couldn't find it again. I remember reading about the fourstroke 250 bike too in the same mag. Look in that mag again, you might find it.

 

Suzuki has'nt even made it yet (for Kawi too copy).
