Default WHATS THE BIGGEST GAP YOUVE CLEARED?

At our local track we have a downhill triple, first tip to last tip is 110 ft, so if u land it right ur goin bout 120ft or so. but it doesnt even seem like it. A guy I work with has 30ft-75ft jumps(75 footer is a step up) and some tabletops. They're built right to kick you out more than up, but yeah...I've been jumping my ramp pretty much every weekend though. its 6ft wide, 24 ft. long total, and 9 feet high. works good for practicing jumping.

Its been my experience you can clear 30+ on an EX in 3rd gear high RPMs. I go by this rule when hitting doubles. I can get between 40-45 ft doubles on my Predator but the "Pucker" factor is high. Always go big as coming up short its over. I enjoy the suspension on my Predator so much more than my EX and I don't notice wight diffrence that much. If you aren't hitting at least 30 foot doubles you aren't living. I will try to post some new pics of me and buddy at Durhamtown track with me landing no hander over 35 foot double. HIGH pucker factor but what a rush!!!

Hey firehawk....how come in all of your pictures you're not wearing a helmet? Do you usually wear one or not?

Yeah, I know. But when I hit the motocross its definetly helmet on!!! Even when I do aggresive trail riding helmets are a must! I know I should where one always but just like my streetbike if I am just easing around I usually don't. The jumps in the gallery are an exception. I may try to upload some recent pics on the Predator tonight or tomorrow. When you start clearing jumps please wear a helmet.

i wasnt tryin to sound like a mom or anything, i was just asking...i just have had too many 5 mph rollovers or somethin that i smack my head and wish i had a helmet on. but now its like stupid to even think about not wearing one....im tryin to figure out how to whip the quad like the mx bikes do..or something similar to it. i got a killer video of me gettin the quad damn near vertical and just lettin my feet come off, legs strait, dont know what its called, but then i pull it back and slam the rear brakes, and it was perfect.
lotta fun
but its roughly a 65 foot gap but really high height jump too
