The track I ride at has 2 long table tops (60 feet and 110 feet) and I've seen a couple Cannondales clear the 60 footer. My friend (who is admitadly insane) came within 3 feet of clearing it with a 300EX. The only thing even close to the 110 footer is the dirt bikes and I dont think any have cleared it yet.

I'm a big guy on a big machine(DS650). My biggest air lately was my first time at this track. There are a series of small easy jumps and I didnt want to look like the panzy in front of everyone... so I hit the 110 footer in 4th gear and landed just past a tree which is 45 feet.

The landing wasnt too bad. But I had to pull off the track for a few to get my heart rate back down.

I know I used to do triples when I raced dirt bikes but that was 10 years ago. Not sure how long they were but 60 feet sounds right.

You mean 30 foot long triples? That would be mighty short but maybe... Looking back 10 years everything seems bigger. Go back 20 and I'll tell you about this 3 foot trout...

 

Longest is about 45', I can clear the small/medium doubles at a local track, they are in the 25' to 35' range.....this is on a completely stock 03 raptor and Im 6'2" 230 lbs[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

ok, i don't care how tricked out ur raptor 80 was, u can't clear a 20 foot gap with that. racing down my street on my mountain bike at 25 mph (according to my speedo) i've only cleared a 25 foot gap. on my lil bro's 250ex (stock cept for paddles) i've cleared about a 15 foot gap with 3 feet of air. i hit the jump in 5th gear pinned, with a downhill run at it. last weekend i got about a 40 foot gap, but i broke my axle carrier racin comp hill so my day was over early. go a lil bigger every time, and i should be pro when i'm 30. lol.

 

I just started riding a couple of months ago and I can clear about 6-7 feet. It doesn't look like much, but when I'm in the air it feels really high...

 

The one between your moms legs [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Kidding. 10 feet off a slight upgrade on my 400ex. Has anyone heard of mcguirepowersports.com? They sell cheap newer atv's, mainly Honda and I was wondering if they're reputable?

 

I was confused, I thought you guys meant a creek bed or something like that. If you race you're over 30' routinely.

 

give the guy a break mine is about 66ft myself it all depends on your skill and lust how fast you want to go.
