none of the mags have even got thier hands on a test bike yet. from all the specs it sounds like the honda will be neck and neck with the yamaha. i've rode both the crf450 and the yz450 and the power feels pretty much the same but the honda hadled better and i'm a yamaha person when it comes to dirt bikes. just have to wait and see what they have done for the suspension and frame, i think thats where it will be decided.

first of all racer4life...the only thing yamaha knew how to do b4 the yfz was put some metal frame with a engine and HOPE it could turn...and when they go top speed i think they might have been goin for a workout to solve the damn obessity crisis! b/c from what i know by past experience it takes a hell of alot more strength to keep it straight or turn....by the way...congrats on yamaha for finally learning that THE ENGINE isn't the main part on the bike...and thanx to yamaha they figured it out! yes i like hondas better but i also repect yamahas untill i ride them...once i can tell by experience that they arnt very good then i bash um...but from what i hear the yfz is good! but just to let u know...the "r" will be just as good if not "better" than the yfz!!!

Personally, I don't care whether the TRX is any faster than the YFZ. They are going to be pretty close, no matter what. What I care about, is how the TRX will HANDLE!! I have put in a few hours on the YFZ, and frankly, I am not especially impressed.
