atv's are more stable, 3 wheelers cost less unless you can get an insane deal on a 4 wheeler like i did

 

I would agree with earlier posts, big displacement atc's can be a real handful- not for the timid or inexperienced. The power to weight ratio of an atc is better than a quad as well. But go ride a bad *** 3 wheeler or a bad *** Quad and try not to have fun. It's not possible [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I think thats the main idea right?

Again Its all your pesonal comfort level. I feel fine opening up my 250R on any terrain, but i have always ridden three wheelers. For a new rider, the instability of 3 wheels is not good and doesnt feel comfortable. The powerband of my bike will scare off most novice riders, and its mostly stock. There is a good reason they dont make three wheelers anymore, but personally, I love my atc and wont buy a quad until they stop making parts for my 250R, but its like anything on this forum board, its personal opinion and expereice. My wheeler might be old and a little smokey, but it runs like a streak of $hit and is a blast to ride! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

If you know how to ride a trike they really can be alot of fun! and for some reason im (200x) always in head on trials when i ride with my friends (400ex, banshee, raptor). you just got to kno how to ride and control them. I dont think trikes are unstable. Probably because iv had them ever sence i was 8. Iv fliped more quads then i have trikes before lol.

O yah trikes are real easy to throw around too. I couldnt imagine trying to go fast on some trial with a v-force!!

 

atv, in my opinon atc are more fun sometimes but atv are more fun pretty much of all the time
