Default ICE & SNOW

how do you think a 400 ex without studs would do on lakes and snow? with studs? I'm just wondering, since I am probably going to be getting one in the near future. Thanks in advance!!

they do great but if you're on ice i would highly recommend a tether kill switch, things do gt a little scary when you start spinning

so do you think it would even be worth the extra $$$ if sliding around is so much fun?

when you say studs do mean little screws or snowmobile studs because people around here use both and when you see a tire with 45 1.25" long studs sticking out of it it looks pretty mean!

I wish I got them too...the ground was BARELY white monday morning...

and as far as slding around being fun yes it is BUT it is also very hard to control it and it will take a while to get some speed because of the tire spin

i suggest studs for ice only. dotn help in snow unless its not deep and u dig in the ground for snow only i suggest realtors. the reaston turf tamers work good for studs is theya re flat arcoss and lots of lugs for lots of studs.. i am studdin the piS$ out of the stock tires this winter.. unless i get it sold.
