the honda has about the same amount of power, just a different design for the engine, so it's lighter, too, i think. and remember, looks aren't everything... and, isn't the 250ex an auto clutch, also? maybe i'm wrong, dunno... if by chance you get the honda, my friend just put a wb e series exhaust on it, and its like a different quad! either way, both quads are very competitive because they are so close in all the categories. i would get the honda for one big reason... its been around for a few years, so you know its reliable and the parts are readily available (not sure about parts for the suzuki.... maybe they are too) but, whatever you get, just have fun and don't crash

i think it was in atv sport or dirtwheels. I think that the z is more adptable because it has preload shocks and the honda doesnt so it makes it more flexable for where you can ride it. The z is better on trails i think (just my opinion) and the honda better on loose dirt. Dotn listen to the magazines because the test riders all think different and what tehy say might be different from what you think.

Well, since the only two in this class are the Z-250 and the 250EX, it is the best in class, but barely. They are so similar in suspension, power, and handling, it's hard to tell a difference. If you're already planning to get a Z-250 and mod it up, you might want to look at something stock that has the same power as a modded Z-250, like a 300EX or Warrior.
