we built some skis today for my son's banshee. Looked all over and could not find any so we built are own out of snowmachine spindles and plastic skis. with the bikes rear wheels studded with 1400 1/2" metal screws and the skis, it wheelies on glare ice . front ends a little lite but works awsome. will post some pics when they're developed.

 

lol.. now ya just need to tracks for the rear.

i been wanting to do the exact same thing to my banshee. anyway you can tell me how you did it, what type of spindles and etc. i knew it would work great on the ice. thanks

 

How many studs did you say?lol

It is not good to put that many studs in the tires. It causes to much stress on the axel or you could even bend the chassis.

 

there is a guy on bansheehq.com that has skis on his banshee and he just uses paddle tires in the rear and it works fine.
