Get the Z all the way. picked the Z over the rappy. Alot nicer in the air a little more reliable and not so damn top heavy. Hands down U can fill the extra 260cc in the rappy but what blew me away was the Z can keep up and alot of cases beat the rappy in the first 3 gears. I have a Z and had a rappy sold it to my buddy and we play all the time.

Good argument we have here. The raptor has a significant torque advantage. It is very noticeable once you get on the pipe, which is a mile wide on both machines. The KFX and Z have amazing throttle response which you can notice instantly. Everyone says how tippy the raptor is and I have no problem keeping all fours on the ground in the turns. It just takes a little more effort to drive the raptor, which is worth it when the KFX and Z are spitting out dust behind you. Get the rappy!

660 vs 400
the rest is pretty similar,,,,,unless you are a really refined rider
figure out what your needs and capabilities are and buy accordingly
you will love either bike for sure

As far as what to buy, most of the thread is pretty clear on what you should do. Ride them both where you will ride the most. Then pick. I love my Raptor, but as you can see, there are a lot of people who don't care for them.

the Z400 has less power, but has great suspension and is really comfortable
and you cant decide between the two? then get a 04 polaris predator, its a 500cc engine (499cc to be exact) so its got more power than a Z, and close to raptor CC's, and its got awesome control and comfortability (no bump steer, fox FULLY adjustable shocks front and back, ect ect)and this is stock!. just my two cents.

I will answer your question. But first let me ask you one...WHY WOULD YOU CONSIDER GETTIN EITHER OF THOSE? A raptor is tons faster then a Z. The Z is basically a pile. It is slow and it is just crap. The Raptor is way better then a Z. I recommend the Polaris Predator. It is way fast and a very well built machine. If you dont want a Predator and i don't know why you wouldn't go with the new CRf 450s or the YZf 450s. Those are about as close as your gunna get to anything as good as a Predator.
