If the pred is so good why are you the only one who likes them. And if the banshee is so outdated then polaris must make a pretty bad quad seeing that a piped banshee will crap on a pred.
$30,000 are you kidding me. For 2,000 it will take a ton of money for your pred to hang. Keep talking you just make your self sound dumer and dumer, and your proving my point that you were dumb enough to get taken when you walked into the dealer and came out with that.

I'm not trying to start anything I just am telling this guy what the best quads are. The Z's cost just as much and more. I am telling him my opinion that the Z isn't worth getting when there are other quads out there that are way better. If you think that is bad input I am sorry. I am just telling him the facts. And to the guy with the Banshee I am done talking to you. You have no idea what you are talking about and I don't care if you think I sound dumb. It doesn't matter. I know what I am talking about and I got the quads to prove it.

I agree with head, if you are looking for the power you need on a motocross track and trails, with the suspension and steering to handle it, the predator is your best bet. The raptor cant keep the front end down and looses trannys, and the shees, as said, are a little out dated. The shees are very capable of becoming great machines no doubt. The raptor just doesn't have it going for itself, that is why they make the yzf.

Problems
-The Raptor supposedly suffers from a weak tranny problem, but nobody I have ridden with has had a problem with anything other than the starter.
-Z/KFX/DVX 400's had weak frames from the factory in 03, supposedly fixed, but once again, nobody I know has had a problem with them.
Both are perfect for all around riding, if you want to get into MX that's a different story altogether. You will be spending tons of money to turn whatever quad you buy into something completely different.
Both respond well to mods (but don't most bikes?) Rappy is faster, but it's not night and day.
Best advice is to ride each (if you can) and go from there.
You are paying for it. Get what you like best, and don't listen to people who aren't happy with what everyone else has.
That's my .02 anyway.

Ok I think it's time for the ohio boys to team up....2004LEBANSHEE knows whats up. I am not gonna sit here and brag about my raptor. Instead I am just wondering what you polaris people see in that predator? 2004LEBANSHEE was with me when a guy let me drive his predator. Let me just say that bump steer system they designed is junk, as soon as you hit the throttle hit would shoot towards a tree. And the power...where is it? When I got back on my raptor it felt like I was driving a top fuel dragster. I have an idea Head027...go get some gasoline and a match and collect the insurrance money so you can go out and buy a real quad.

He doesn't lose. If he does lose he won't lose the next time. He used to have the fastest 4-wheeler in the U.S. He sold it. It started out as a trailblazer. It ran 3.9's. He NEVER got beat on that. I am also pretty sure your banshee won't even compete with a predator in MX or anything else for that matter. Stock banshees are outdated. I have seen some really fast banshees but they had prolly atleast $30,000 in them. You obviously don't know what you are talking about. It makes me so mad when people like you say stuff like this because it isn't true and its not even close to being true. It's insane to even compare the banshee with the predator. The predator compares to the new Honda CRF and the new Yamaha YZF. They are all pretty close in top speed and all great quads. I personally think the predator is the best one but I don't wanna get in to that. I just don't understand people like you.
