Ive owned several of each and I would buy the 250R over the banshee. It handles better, better ergonomics, easier to ride fast, better low end, better in trails and no slouch in the wide open sections. I always felt like you sit in the 250R and the banshee you sit on top of it (the banshee seat is great - nice & thick) The banshee is faster and a awesome quad, but I prefer the 250R.

Hats off to Yamaha for sticking it to the man and kept the banshee in production for so long. Too bad Honda gave in to the pressure and stopped the 250R after 4 years.

Canada the 350 Banshee was sold until 2008 and in Australia until 2012. I think in the states it was 2006.

 

id say i like the banshee better it just rips around and is a lot more fun to drive
