Drag raced a 440ex vs a 450r?
I watch 450Rs race against YFZs and non stock Raptors out at St. Joe and they more than hold their own (do quite well actually) against them. I don't understand why people keep underrating these quads. Are you blind or just never seen one run? My ride is not as slow as most people say it is but I have no problem in saying a 450R will hand me my a$$ real quick..........

all of the guys with the New 450Rs around my area don't know how to drive them. They just puts around. And think they are all bad b/c they got a new 450R. I asked this guy to race and we lined up, he couldn't even drive the thing. My jetting is all messed up and I still schooled him. It's like he didn't even have it started. Then there is guys who bring them to Bauer's pit and just leave them on the trailer all day and just stand next to them. Never ride them or anything. Some people just 4 wheel for the image....I dislike those people

I understand why. Because the yfz has slightly more peak horsepower on a dyno. This is all people make their decisions by. The smarter guy can see that the 450r has power on a dyno where the yfz doesn't. That's why they rate them equal in a drag race (stock).
anyway, if there is anyone else that has raced their modified 440ex against a 450r let us know. I originally made this thread because there are alot of 400ex guys out there that haven't had a chance to go up against a 450r. For most people power is a very important factor as to which quad they will buy.
