Come on guys lets hear what is the best all around 250cc (Speed, 12oclocks, parts.)

 

The best 250cc quad over all is the 250ex. it has the best handling its very reliable and just plain fun to drive. but if you want an manual clutch then the 250ex wouldnt be the quad for you. i would say a 300ex if u want a manual. but in the 250 class the ex gets u the most for your buck.

the fastes 250 is the mojave and its a proven motor that has been around for 10+ years. its every bit realiable as the 250ex plus its liqued cooled.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

250ex OR z250- These are more for agressive trailriding because of the auto clutch.

Mojave- This is more for agressive riders with the clutch. It is used for more than trailriding.

Trailblazer250- This is for the not as agressive trailriders because of its wheight and automatic transmission.

Blaster- This can also be put in this. It is in the class with the mojave. Agressive riders that do more then trailriding, it also has a clutch.

 

The 250ex is undoubtably the ultimate in 250cc class. It has suspension good enough for all manor of trail riding and trail jumping although it gets a little tough with mx. Power is plenty and most parts are availiable for it. It is more reliable than any other company and it is just out right fun to ride.

 

OMG!! how can you say the 250ex is better than the z-250 or mojave?? overall the Z-250 is obviously the best "OVERALL" 250 sport atv. 246cc versus the 250ex's 229cc, more power over the ex, equal or better handling depending on the rider, and the same exact price tag. or if you want something alot faster go with the Mojave. it also has longer suspension .....and a manual clutch. but its a kick start. if you like 2-strokes and dont mind not having reverse, than blasters cost the least of them all and are really fun to ride. (i own one).

but for the 250 four-strokes, testing and fact prove the Z-250 superior for handling and fun-factor......for speed, definetly mojave.

 

u r wrong about the z250 and 250ex being the same price the z250 is $400 more that the 250ex. Further more the 250ex is only 2 m.p.h. slower that the z250 and the the ex reaches the top speed faster. and its more reliable. also you can take the 400 dollars u save on the ex and go buy a pipe for it and get it going 5- 10 M.P.H. faster than the Z250. so no the z250 is not the best the 250ex is plain and simple.

Honda made the ex cheaper because they thought no one would buy it because of the z. It also is a little older. I heard they were going to make some updates on it somewhere. Above all, who really cares, there to evenly matched to tell. Its just whos the better rider and who has the fattest wallet. I was looking at the ex before I bought the z, but I got the ozark instead. Then i wanted something more sporty so I got another suzuki. If it werent for the ozark, I would have gotten the ex. Who cares what you ride, as long as your riding. Enough with this qeustion.

 

Mojave... NO doubt... MOJAVE. KFX250 is the new name for it. it will outrun everything under a 400ex. Also, one of the straightest jumping and best wheelieng quads made.

 

yea i agree just be thankful that u have quad i mean there is always going to be something bigger and better than u are. its part of life.
