What gear oil do you run in a Blaster?

I have been running 85 Wt Spectro. What's everyone using and why?

5w30 cheap motor oil, not synthetic, no friction modifiers. At $1 per quart, you can change it whenever you want. 10 years on two blasters and no issues.

Default What gear oil do you run in a Blaster?

I use Castrol 10-30 standard W. I have a buddy who is a Chemical Engineer and he found that Castrol holds up better then all the other oils (Yamalube, Honda, etc...). I change my oil everytime I go riding hard (thats just my preference) He found that it doesn't foam like the others. Remember when it foams up you loose viscosity, which then creates higher friction. He also told me that if you use there synthetic blend it works just as good (Castrol)
