I have raced a baja x. We marked off a 350feet. The first race i won by about a half a bike length. Then the second race i started off in second gear and beat him by about 1 to 1 and half bike lenght. The only thing i had done to mine at the time was the air box lid off, baffle out and jet kit.

The main thing is the rider and his skill level. A good rider will out run a bad rider even if he has less power.

I CONFESS I SAID THAT THE YFZ WOULD DO IT IN @ 3.8-4.2 SEC. but I DIDN'T MEAN IT LITERALLY I JUST LIKE TO THROUGH EVERYONE A CURVE BALL...........THAT ONE DUDE WAS RIGHT IN THE TESTING OF SEVERAL QUADS THE ds650 DONE IT IN THE HIGH 8's THAT WAS THE QUICKEST, DID I SAY WAS??? haha! THE NEW YFZ CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT.

same here i was just joking about te 3.8 depending on the wind...but it was just funny how lots of people started to respond after i B/S ed about it. So maybe youve got the right answer or maybe you always did know the answer and just wanted to hear other peoples responses so you could argue. But who really knows? Just my 2 cents
