I am buying a quad and i have had eperience on them before but very lightly, i am 15, 5'9" 130 lbs and ride mostly muddy trails and some pits i want to know what quad would be best a Raptor , Warrior or 400 ex? i dont want to be overpowered so i wont kill myself.

I see you listed Yamahas and one honda. There is a new 350 Raptor coming out you might want to look at. The 660R is HUGE power and I would not recommend it for a first quad. Warrior is a great quad and better on the trails. The 400ex has a good reputation but is still up there in power.
Do you want reverse?
You plan on jumping a lot?
Money$$$?
YOu using it to go in deep mud? What kind of terrain you going to ride on?
Have you talked to a dealer or even sat on any of these?
MIght want to consider these too.

i do want reverse but its not a necessity, i have to pull my friends 300 ex out all the time b/c he broke his reverse and the 400 ex is about the same wieght
i do plan on jumping alot but trails also
i have about a good $4000 or more to spend right now on a good quad that will last
the biggest mud i get into is just above the wheels on a 300 ex and the trails are mostly rocky
i've sat on a raptor 400ex and warrior, the warrior and 400ex feel more comfortable for my size and the raptor feels big and intimitating

yes, i've look at the z400 and i like it alot but i just dont have the money for it, i dont know much about the kawasaki's i thought that they were the same thing as the z's but just a different color

but i thought how many times do you really use reverse?
if you get stuck going forward your going to be stuck in reverse
the only time icould think that you use reverse is when you have to turn around in a tight trail and backing out of the garge

The Zs and KFX are the same. The 400 doesnt have reverse either. Like I said check out the new Raptor 350 "click here". More umph than the 300 class and yet not too much **** to kill you. Plus it looks like its big Bro
Its running about 4,999.
I use reverse every time I ride. Stall on a hornets nest one time and see if you wish you had reverse
