Default CDI QUESTION

okay guys i am looking into a way to get a little more top end out of my fourwheeler, its got loads of low end just i need some top end without messing with gearing, i was wonder which way i would get more speed out of it, changing my CDI or putting a bigger carb on it, what exactly does a cdi do? if that is the best way what one should i put on it? thank you for the help.

The only way your going to gain top speed is to re gear it, put bigger tires on it, or add more rpm. You can buy diffrent cdi's that have no rev limits which will let you rev till it blows.
