i have the AC nerfs on my 450r and they've saved me countless times. i had some DG nerfs on my 400EX and bent them jumping, i tried a heel clicker and didn't get my feet back to the pegs, on the landing i bent both sides down about an inch. i got the AC ones and they have a much larger diameter tubing and are a lot stronger. plus i like the swept back look. if u decide to cut ur straps tho, don't cut them to within like 3-4 inches of the bars, i made that mistake and the straps come undone.

 

I had ac pro pegs on my raptor, I liked them a lot the only bad part was when i was wearing boots the higher pegs lift your feet up some and require more effort to get under the shifter. i dont know if this would be a problem on the pred or not.

 

ive got dg alloy nerfs... i;ve heard a lotof bad things about them but they are great. will also save your foot if you side swipe into a stump or something

 

I wouldn't ride without them.....

Well, I personally love them, I run AC Racing nerfs on my raptor, they mount and look better then DG in my opinion, and aren't too bad on the wallet.

My foot has slipped of my pegs many times in the air, and am happy that I have the nerfs protecting me.

 

being i posted this topic in may i already got the ac nerfs, bumper, skid, and grab bar. i like all of them alot. thanks for all of the info. im am realy glad i bought them. they help alot in the trail riding i do. but i dont like the added weight when it comes to drag racing though.

dang i think im the only one who has pro armor we have proarmor on our z400 because it has built on aluminum heel plates and there look awsome. you can get them at rockymountainatv.com i forgot to look so i dont know what kind of quad you got anyways they only make them for poular quads where dg about makes them for any sport quad
