Shocks for a 210 lb Rider attempting MX ????

I need some advice regarding shocks in general and for my 450r. I have the stock shocks on the 450r and I'm still taking a beating on jumps 30-50 ft and 3-4 ft high landing on flat hard-packed dirt. I think the rear shock may be adjusted correctly, but I'm still getting some super extreme head whiplash in the forward direction when I land.
1. I've heard most shocks aren't really setup properly for a 200+ lb rider when they are stock. I see guys that are 150-180 lbs jumping and they don't seem to be taking near the hit that I am.
2. I'm wondering if the head bobble/whiplash thing is being caused by my front shocks being to stiff. My landings favor the rear shock 95% of the time, but I still get some pretty bad whiplash.
Right now, the shock settings are fairly close to stock. The front end seems pretty stiff though, I'm guessing that I'm not getting the full travel out of the front shock and need to soften them up.
Any help is appreciated. My neck is a sore mother today, HAH !!!!!!

One of the biggest problems with the new HONDA is the fact that it is very light in the front due to the engine placement. This is part of the reason why the back end is taking most of the impact. I would recommend maybe having your shocks revalved for your weight, or if $ isn't an issue maybe look into some high end aftermarket shocks built specifically for your weight and riding style. The easiest thing to try is to make adjustments to what you already have(pre-load and compression); If this doesn't solve the problem then it's pretty much a spend money or live with it situation. I spent the money on a set of ELKA's and it has been the best money I've spent on my Z. My Z used to fall like a ton of bricks until the shock upgrade. I hope this helps.........
