An O-ring chain is permenantly lubed internally at the factory with grease. The rings are there to hold the grease in place. All you need, is something that will keep the rings supple, and provide some lubrication externally between the chain and the sprockets.

So, NEVER NEVER USE ANY LUBE THAT IS WET! Think about it. That wet lube is going to attract dirt, then form GRINDING PASTE and tear your O-rings to shreds! Then that internal grease is lost, and you are going to need a new chain! And, penetrating lubes will slip past the O-rings and get inside and ruin the grease, so avoid those also.

I use Maxima CHAIN WAX, and nothing else! These are dirt bikes, not street bikes.
