98 Blaster: 1900 purchase price, 800 in mods. Great bike for the last 4 years.
87 LT250 Quadracer. 2000 purchase price, about 1300 spent on mods, made a few hundies back ebaying spare parts. Takes abuse like a Cuban welterweight for the last 13 years, great investment.
01 Raptor. 5700 purchase price, 600 in pipe, K&N & paddles. 2 years use for us, wonderful unit.
04 YFZ. 6700 purchase price, 0 spent in mods, 2 tanks o' fuel run thru it.
03 Duramax tow rig, 95 Dutchmen camper, 02 aluminum sledbed trailer to haul quads on: 52000.
Quads were the cheap part.

Wow, are we talking about mods or talking about also fixing stuff when something goes wrong??? If its in mods and after market parts...around 1400..........if were adding money spent fixing stuff....I don't know and maybe thats good!....then of course other stuff like helmets..goggles, gloves,riding boots, jerseys, pants, and everything else..I'm sure that adds up to a nice little hunk of change!!! I have learned one thing though.....This is a very expensive sport to get into!! (BUT ITS THE GREATEST!!!!)
