Default YFZ450 Trail Bike?

I here from a lot of people that the TRX450R is better for trails. Any of you guys have YFZ450's and ride them in tight trails? If so what is your setup how do you like it? Personaly I like electric start so I am steering towards buying the yamaha. I Know there has to be some strictly woods riders out their running YFZ450's!

I spent an afternoon trail riding the YFZ. This was tight woods single track, and semi-technical in spots. I have to say that the stock YFZ was absolutely MISERABLE! The powerband was to revey and it had a hit in the middle. The suspension was way to stiff. I wouldn't pick the TRX for the very tight, technical stuff either.

The primo trail bikes are the 400's.

I race alot of HARE SCRAMBLES and ridden both the YFZ and TRX 450's. The honda seemed to be a little more trail friendly due to a more comfortable seating arrangement. They both need to be reved to keep them moving. However, the TRX seemed to improve with the addition of the HRC power-up kit .
