It is a topic of discussion because it is interesting to compair a 15 year old old tech 2 stroke to the newest, bad *** 4 stroke
technology. It isnt enough of a BLOW OUT race to not be a topic of discussion. (yes.. the 15 year old 2 stroke will kill it)

(a banshee vs. 300EX or something like THAT isnt a topic worthy of discussion)

But.... an old Quadzilla vs. the newest, fastest quad is most certainly a topic worthy of discussion.

 

This looks a lot like the muscle car VS new car discussion. Like an L88 Chevelle would out accelerate most of the newer crop of (smaller engined) cars, almost any of them would make the Chevelle look stupid on an SCCA course.

Me, I appreciate the muscle car's panache, but prefer the new car which you can use with fewer headaches. One hop from my 87 Quadracer to my YFZ speaks volumes.
