dc504 is a big kid.... Ive met him on the dunes...... You already know how the z handles on the dunes, maybe it would be better to ask how the raptor does on the dunes since you mostly ride the dunes.

my personaly though go with the raptor give you and your dad something to switch up between on the dunes and add to the excitement.

 

i did, for a little while, and came to the conclusion that its just to big for me. i want something lightweight i can throw around and jump on. ds just weighs to much in my opinion but theres no question it does have lots of power.

zthing, why would i lie about my size? i gave u my true height and weight.

ive ridden my dads z400 on the dunes and i love it. power, suspension, handling, lightweight. so i guess the question now is would i be more or less happy with a raptor?

 

If your thinking about getting the Z, then get the Artic Cat version (DVX400 i think). their the same quad, but with mush better styling , especailly for the dunes IMO.


Rappy's are good quads too.

I own a Z and usaully i would recomend them, but in the case that you wants to ride dunes mostly than you would want the more powerfull raptor. Especially for your size

You haven't raced a 660 with a decent rider then.
Match up mod for mod you'll win riding a Raptor.


..and to whom ever said the Raptor is tippy, you must not be able to ride one, I can outride my friends with a z400 and a 450r in trails.

For duning go with a Raptor.
