suzuki is a copier

Only thing wrong with zukis/blah/blah is that they seem to be weak. My friend has already bent one of his rims, and his axle, and his plastic pops out alot. i still kinda want one but all i can really afford is an ex frame and build it

Its not that there copying they are competing. What it is is that quads are devided into classes and each company makes quads in the same size range and then they are competing for which quad is better.

Most of the manufacturers use the same DID rims, so if your friend bent one, he can't blame Suzuki!
I agree that Suzuki frames aren't as strong as Hondas. I would like to see a Z400 engine in a 400EX frame.

hey ask the right people and you will see also the new honda 450r is breaking frames also I have seen it first hand and talked to other people that have done it. so something to think about when you are bashing suzukis because you own a honda. I have a buddy that broke his in 3 months on his 450 and seen a run of yamahas come into the shop with blown motors. moral of the story there are pros and cons to every atv doesent matter the year make model they are all purpose built and there is an but for every seat so ride what you want and if your think your the best bring it to the track and prove yourself not the machine I have seen a guy on a warrior win a mx race yes I said warrior and it was this year racing the new 45os.

Suzuki has been both an inovator and a copier just like most companies. The differance is the classes are changing quick enough that it's tough to keep up. Yamaha is the company leading most inovation now and theyre bringing out new stuff every few years that keeps everyone on their toes.
As for reliability I dont think theyre alot worse than anyone else. It's a tough combination to build a lightweight and durable quad. Look at Polaris and Artic Cat. These guys dont seem phsyically able to build a large 4by that weighs less than 700 pounds.
Honestly I'm pleasantly surprised we havent seen alot more problems with the YFZ's and 450R's...
