Here's the problem....I have seen many new guys on here asking questions, and the only thing you can tell them is SEARCH!!! These guys don't know how to search. Thats what this fourm is all about...helping others with problems. Just like the other day when my buddy was asking about the pipe for the Raptor...what did you say......SEARCH. We had already done this.

 

Searching will provide mounds of information instantly instead of waiting for replies. You dont have to worry about not getting enough input and making a wrong move, nor do you have to worry about bad input because you have other posts to compare against.

Many people want someone to tell them which pipe to get, others want opinions on something they are leaning towards. For the most part, all basic information like power gains, power distribution, sound quality, sound levels, etc can be attained from prior posts. To repeat this information everytime someone new shows up and wants it is ridiculous.

If you take a look at my pipe thread posts, I typically tell people to search, then come back with specific questions instead of general ones that have been covered many times. Some things are hard to find, so you need to ask again, but this is usually not the case.

Most people are just too darn lazy to search, and want their information fed to them on a silver spoon. This becomes annoying in the yamaha, zuki, and honda forums because there are usually a few threads like that started every day or so. This is not really a problem in the Polaris forum, so I can understand why you do not initially understand.

Man, thats what these forums are for; sharing information. Most people on here don't mind helping someone if they can even if it means answering the same ?s all the time. Its done on here all the time. The only time I find it a little annoying is when the same person keeps asking the same ? but even then its their right.
