In the January issue of dirtwheels they did 05'raptor vs. 05' TLD Predator and the predator out accelarated id but by 5th gear the raptor came on top because there's a big gap between 4th and 5th gear so 5th gear is way too high on the pred. They said the pred won the shootout though.

 

yeah they really screwed up that tranny on the tld

 

They should had put the Std. Pred. up agaist it.

Although, I don't think you'll like it very much when he does get it.. Would it be possible to see a video of you smoking this raptor over and over again? What is your friend's screen name on here, btw? Oh, congrats to doug nicholas. I see that he set a track record running a 5.11 in the 300.

 

Is that a joke(or are you hammering him) NJ??? I know his pred goes faster than that, unless he wasn't running at his best(which could be possible I guess......)............. What track was that, I haven't been down to talk to him in a while.........


By the way, just for discussion sakes, I have no problem with either Raj or maddog........both are helpful.........

Nothing I'd like more than to get along. However, it seems that there is forever someone talkin' shiz on yamaha that happens to be a polaris owner. I understand. Everyone wants to beat the best. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] However, it's always a polaris owner starting. Not suzuki, kawasaki, and rarely honda. Then they go back to polaris and play holier than thou. I really wish I could get some time off to go on a roadtrip. Brad, you're cool, but lets see. Fidge says the only thing that beat him was a turbo ds650. Unhuh. The only one I know of is Scooby's. And he's on the wrong side of the country. Raj says he constantly smokes raptors. I've been there and raced each against each other. With equal seat time on both. Stock, there is no smoking going on. It's close either way. That's why I keep asking about four stroke wars, atpi, sandfest, etc... If a fast predator was to show up at one of these events, we'd know what's up. As far as that being a crack about doug's time? Nope. He still set the record. Means he was the fastest in the 0-700 class. And I bet at least a few raptors showed up.


PS.. Raj, meet me halfway for a race? Tower city in the spring perhaps?

Ok lets start with Dougs Predator.....it had a blowen head gasket for start. My buddys name is Micks660Raptor, and I can take a picture of it in my garage right now. I do beat him every time, and it's bad. I would love to smoke you anytime. Lets see I have the quad to back it up....come get some!

NJ........one thing to add.......do you ever watch TT racing?? Doug built Daryl Rath's motor(627cc pred) and it won big time.........

 

Ok, I'm gonna go to Ohio to race a race I already know the outcome of.. Meet me at tower city. That way, after it's over, we got 12000 acres of trails to ride on. I'll be bringing a video camera if you are in tho..

As far as doug goes, all I did was state a number that was posted in polaris. I though it pretty good that he set the track record. And raj, are you telling me he raced on a blown head gasket??? Ok..
