its all about the rider...i have seen 300ex's smoke blasters and i have smoked a blaster on my 300ex persoanlly i hate blasters but they are not bad quads for everyone. they are cheap and they are cheap for a reason and thats because they cant compare to quads like the 400ex's unless you have the extra money to put into them.

in general yes a 200cc two stroke will keep up with a 400cc four stroke. But the fact is that the blaster and 400ex were aimed at two totally different riding styles. The blaster while it could have been a fast race-style quad, was not built that way. It was detuned and was not a small motor that packs a large punch. While they are fun, it is rediculous to say that a blaster will keep up with the ex. It's like comparing a 450r to a 400ex. Only 50cc (rounded of course) off so they should be close right? Come on guys how many times does this same old topic need to be discussed? me fealss stupider bi jus tackin prt uh dis thrade
