Maybe but it will be close, if you pipe the predator and put in jets than you'll have no problem taking the raptor and maybe beat a stock YFZ450 if your really good, but for this form the stock for stock YFZ450 is faster than the predator.

 

Sorry for the misunderstandings........but most everyone agrees to this......


faster=top speed= predator

quicker = acceleration(fastest to top speed) = yfz

 

450r,yfz450,predator,raptor,ds, w/e they all have the samer top speed. im positive about the banshee,450r,yfz450 and predator cause ive done this already. and if they arent all the same, its not noticable enough to pull away

 

They are all within 4 to 5 mph........not too noticable......if you were almost at top speed right beside eachother, you would notice it....that is the only way.........

 

I read the latest DW shootout between the TLD Predator and Raptor. From the sounds of it Polaris only lowered the gearing on 1-4 gears leaving 5th the same. DW commented that the TLD Predator fell on its face when shifting into 5th.

 

they did lower the 1-4 gears but they didnt do it right. the gap from 3-4 and 4-5 is bigger than the standard pred

 

well when ive done top gear roll ons with all but the 450r, and the yfz would pull slightly ahead then stay there

 

I hate to tell ya.....but the yfz isn't the fastest top speed.......the pred is(05)........along with the rappy being right there too.........any yfz owner will tell you this......they aren't made for top speed........

 

none of them were,but in my experience a predator is no faster than a yfz

 

The TLD and the Std. has the same gears in 1 and 5, they only change 2-4.
