Predators are NICE quads! It would take a badass 400EX to out run a stock one, especially on top end. I can run with my buddies' Preddys sometimes on the loose stuff until we hit the higher speeds but on asphalt its pretty much Preddy all the way. I can keep them almost equal (with the Preddy nosing) till I hit 4th then the Preddy walks..............but thats ok, I still get them on the trails............[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

the ex can handle gears at lower revs better (yes ive ridden both)

 

I have owned both a 400ex and now a predator, why do you say a 400ex can handle lower rev's better? To me (everyone is different) the predator handles and rides way above the 400ex. But alot of that could be because I am 6'0" and 225lbs, maybe the predator is a big boys toy..........

 

My stock 400EX ive hit 68 with according to my GPS... then with my tires which were an inch or two taller than stock, they would add a little more top end..maybe a mph or two..

 

well if you do up and ex in my opinion i waould say it is the best all around quad i can hit 83mph now with my 485 stroker and i think it handels alot better than any quad i ever drove but thats just my opinion
