Search, this is a pretty lopsided comparison and you should have your answers in just a couple minutes of browsing old threads.

 

Predator- around 72-3mph,412 lbs
400eex- around 63-4mph,375 lbs('05 models are a little heavier).

I know the 05 is 415 lbs, I don't know about the 03 and 04 Predators.

 

Predator top out around 74mph (stock)
400ex top out around 65mph (stock)

Predator= 415lb
400ex=375lb

 

Better jumper...? Which ever you're more comfortable on probably. But if you get a Troy Lee Predator, it'll have better Fox suspension than the 400EX. Longer suspension travel as well.

There really is no comparison between the 400EX and the Predator, I just sold an 02 400EX and bought a Predator. The Predator rides and handles so much better than the 400EX, and power wise no comparison! I am stating this if both are in stock form before someone jumps me they have a 440 EX with all the goodies that is better than a Predator. I have only added a slip on pipe and a K&N air filter to mine and I can outrun just about any quad except a piped and jetted YFZ 450, or one thats been modded out the rear.
