Hey ridinsmooth,I was there sunday.I got there about 3 or 4.I still had the struts on I run at the track.It like to beat me to death.LOL!!! I was hanging out at the bluff with my brother.I was on my banshee and he was on his quadzilla.Let me know the next time you go out there.
I talked to a guy out at george rays sunday.He said he was from Trumman.Don't remember his name,and he said he owned a raptor.He didn't know you.Hope to meet up with you sometime,as well as the rest of ya.Do you still have the gas-gas?I'd like to see that quad.

oh and no i dont i sold it 3 days ago i think i am going to keep the money and do more research before my next quad i really wasnt happy with the hp.

I think the aftermarket companies has actually hurt the gas-gas.I don't think hardly anyone has made aftermarket parts for it.When the YFZ come out,it seemed everyone was making pipes for it.Now you can get a different cam,big-bore kit,porting,etc...For some reason they never showed much interest in the gas-gas.That's a shame too.It is one of the few 2-strokes still being made,and it could have been a real success.Most people that buy sport quads will sooner or later want to modifiy it.I bought my banshee because the possibilities of making it faster was just about endless.It might be that the companies only build parts for quads they think they can sell the most of.It would be more profitable.The YFZ has got more of the spot light than the gas-gas.At least you see it more often in the magazines.

 

well i went to walcott and stayed there two nights and i was at sand creek arouind mid day i didnt have my quad i was using my uncles 350 bruin i really dont know that mans last name i just heard about him he like the only guy with a raptor in trumann and rdz is right on the reason i sold it.

 

Maybe I'll see ya next time.Did you have fun at the creek?See any sport quads.There should have been a yellow and red 250R and a yellow 400EX on nitrous out there about the time you was there.Lee rides the 400 and Nick rides the 250.Believe it or not,I'm pretty sure the 400 will outrun the 250.It has to be sprayed to do it though.I haven't had the chance to run either of them yet.
