I would try go to a local shop and check out the equipment. Then if your local store is pretty high store prices then order the stuff from Rocky. They are pretty good with the exchanges. It does take a little long for them on shipping, that is the only knock on them, atleast from me.
Fox stuff is alittle more but worth the money. Also you can buy last years stuff at 30% discounts if you can find the items in your size.

I like the EVS BJ2. Besides chest protection, it has excellent shoulder and elbow protection! Once, this thing saved me a broke shoulder.
