whats the best all around tire for trail riding?

i think my holeshot XC's are a great trail tire. The holeshot HD is a good trail tire also, ive heard good things about maxxis to but in my opinion i would go with my XC's

I would think Holeshot H-D's for an eastern trail rider. Here in the desert, I like the Holeshot XC's.

Don't forget about the kenda Klaw, that tire is sick, flip it one way, its good in hard stuff, flip it the other, its acts like a mini paddle and is good for the soft stuff. My friend let me try out his 22's and they were hooking in everything, i ride in marshland so you get a mix of real sticky nasty mud and then hard frozen ground.

Haven't tried the Klaws in sand but great on the trails.

I dont have to worry about sand cause there is very little of it here in mass.

yes, the kenda's have a real good all around tire, good tread design and they will get u through alot of situations

I bought the HD's just for the desert style riding out here in socal. There are some sharp rocks and I wanted something durable for desert racing and they are bulletproof!
