banshee vs. quadzilla
#22
"The coolest part was I could still cruise the dunes, while the Banshee's I beat with wheelie bar's and solid frames were stuck on the flats." my point exactly. besides for most riding, a piped zilla or banshee is fast enough. zillarider02, u shoulda never got rid of that quad

I've had 3 Banshees and a 1987 "Quadzilla" along with many others. All have been modified. I did a complete Paul Turner motor in my Quadzilla and have never personally ridden a faster 4-wheeler. It was by far the most powerful from bottom to top of anything I have ridden or owned. My Banshees were all fast too, but it is very hard to beat a big bore 500 that is done right, incredible torque!!!

yes the quadzilla'a are a very fast machine if anyone is interested in a very nice one i just did the entire quad over (except the motor) fresh powdercoated frame a arms, grabbar, hubs, new a- arms bushings everyother bushing tight new maier black plastics, new water pump seal as well no leakes at all i was asking $3400 for it but i took it for a ride the other day and was coming down through the gears and it locked up dont really know whats wrong with it. motor still kicks over im thinking its a tranny issue not to sure still for sale asking 2700$ if anyone has a clue what might be wrong pm me.

like most other people said its hard to get a zilla in stock or close to stock form. but when done all the way up you cant touch a shee. even if you chould make the hp they dont make the trannys for zilla like they do shees.
