To all you "big dogs" with 250r's, banshees, 400ex"s, etc. i just wanna say watch your back because last night at a local race a 300ex opened a can of whoop on all the competition. None of these quads were stock either. So in conclusion, don't get too cocky!

I saw a 250X, stock except for K&N and a White bros pipe, beat 2 Banshees and a 400Ex yesterday, on an MX track. Does that make the 250X a bad As@ machine? No, it means that the 250X rider was much more experienced than the other riders! DUH!!

 

I was just told that my old 300ex came in 4th this weekend at a MX race against a whole field of 400's. This was the only 300 in the race and he made a wrong turn on the 1st lap.
Pretty decent. However, I traded that ex for a 250r and will never get rid of it. The power is at least twice as much and everything about it is better except ease of use. The electric start and easy to ride powerband on the EX are nice for just cruisin around the house on.
However, its not even near the machine my R is, but with a good rider, it will work.
