are there any sand dunes in florida. i have always dreamed of being able to shred to my heart's content but don't want to travel cross country to ride for a day or two. it would make for a good vacation but not when you have one truck and two quads, it isn't easy. not to mention hotels and security issues w/ the bikes in the truck. w/ all the beaches here in florida and all the open land there has got to be something somewhere. by the way, i live just outside tampa.

Not very much in the way of sand dunes here(or should I say ones worth mentioning).Go to FloridaTrailRiders.org or FloridaQuadRiders.com and ask there.....

No;Cars,motocycles,bikes and rentals(not even sure you can do that anymore....).

 

NW Oklahoma is the closest sand dune place for you. Mapquest and figure out the drive time. the destination is WAYNOKA, OK. A place called Little Sahara.

 

thanks guys. maybe one day there will be a beach open to the public to ride.....................one day. for now i guess we will always be known as the "wooded" area to ride. before i die, i will shred the dunes on my shee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
